What happens when we walk in

The first thing a technician does is stop the loss from getting worse. That usually means finding the source and shutting it off, or confirming you already have. Then we look at safety: standing water near outlets, a sagging ceiling, contaminated water in a home with kids or pets.

Next comes the inspection, which is free and carries no obligation. We walk the affected areas with moisture meters and, where it helps, a thermal camera. Water travels. It runs along joists, drops behind baseboards, and sits in wall cavities that look perfectly dry from the hallway. Mapping where it actually went is the difference between a job that dries out and a job that smells wrong three weeks later.

Then we tell you what we found and what it will take. In plain terms, before anything gets torn out. If your situation calls for water damage cleanup and structural drying, we explain how many days the equipment needs to run and why. If we see growth, we explain how mold testing and remediation would work, including containment. If it is a sewage backup, we explain why that material and the porous surfaces it touched have to go, no matter how new the carpet is.

Certification is not a decoration. Applied structural drying is arithmetic: cubic footage, grain depression, class of water loss, how many dehumidifiers a space actually needs. Guess low and the building stays wet behind the wall. Guess high and you have burned the homeowner money on rental equipment. Trained people get that math right.
